headphone repair?

hey guys
i recently bought a pair of the sony MDR-XB20EX, for recreational listening

and after a month of use, the right earphone cut out
it started to stutter at first, and then completely cut out

do u ithnk its possible to open it up and re connect the wires (assuming thast the problem)

or do u tihnk it might even be worth contacting Sony and asking for a replacement?

Cheers

then why do you ask if you should contact sony for a replacement :/

One option left: buy new headphones. And in the futute, please do consider keeping the receipt when purchasing a brand new item.

If you paid by card, they might have your receipt on their computer system. They will probably need the date of purchase to be able to find it, check your bank statements if you can't remember. I have done this before, it's worth a try.
